The Tabata Timer

Team workout – as a team row 5K for time. Teams of 3.

Rules:
1) The teammate rowing is only allowed 16 pulls, then you must switch.
2) After coming off the rower, do 7 ballistic ball situps.

Cooldown circuit:
1) 2 rounds:
cobra X 20″
roll to shoulder
bridge X 20″

2) stretch/mobilize glutes/hips

Beginners Class: Push Press and Push Jerk

    That timer is pretty cool. Nice to be able to do tabata intervals without having someone keep track.
    I’ve got something similar over on thefitblog.net. It’s a customizable interval timer with some neat features like full screen support and can be downloaded so it can be used without a network connection.
    Anyway, as they say, 1 2 3, GO!

    You can find a Tabata Timer for your iPhone or iPod Touch at http://www.katr.com/iphone.php#tabata. It has visual as well as auditory cues so that you can watch or listen for your activity and rest periods. If you are listening to music on your device, the sound cues will overlay your music.
