Crossfit Portland Treatment Room: Dr. Stephen Besser

Dr. Besser’s hours of operation out of the Crossfit Portland Treatment room are Fridays 4-5:30 and Saturdays 8-10 am. Please contact him to inquire about the special member rate ($35!) and setup an appointment – stephenbesser@gmail.com.

Dr. Besser graduated from the University of California at Davis with a bachelors of science in
exercise biology before moving to Portland Oregon to pursue his doctorate in chiropractic. He
attended the University of Western States where he excelled in the areas of adjustive
technique, rehabilitation and biomechanics. While at the University of Western States, Dr.
Besser attended post-graduate courses dealing with diagnosis and treatment of spine and
extremity conditions.

Before opening HealthSource of Cedar Mill, Dr. Besser was the Co-Program Director with Dr.
Eric Hassid, MD and treating Chiropractic Physician for the Center of Integrative Spine Care in
Davis, California. Dr. Besser was also the consulting chiropractor for the University of
California at Davis athletic training department. While at UC Davis Dr. Besser was able to learn from some of the nation’s top athletic trainers and sports medicine staff.

Outside the office Dr. Besser enjoys spending time with his friends and family. And also lives
an active lifestyle participating in water sports, hiking, cycling and running. He is also
committed to participating in ongoing education to provide the highest level of care for his
patients.
