natural healing ability

We will begin with prevention, covering the nutrients and dietary changes that are necessary for a properly functioning immune system, as well as the herbs and foods that enhance immunity like bone broths, medicinal mushrooms and adrenal adaptogens.

Throughout class, I will pass around tasters of delicious medicines that I have made myself, from plants I harvested in Oregon forests and fields.

Next, we will talk about treatment. I will cover fever in detail: fever’s function in the body, the importance of not suppressing this vital healing mechanism, and how to use herbs to support and quicken the fever process.

I will cover herbs that kids can safely take when sick or to prevent sickness – and ways to make them yummy enough to go down easily! Together, we will make a supercharged bone broth that contains tons of nutrients and medicine to improve immunity for you and your family. We will talk about ways to get this powerful food into your daily diet.

Everyone will go home with a big bag of medicinal broth as well as recipes to make more. I will also be selling homemade versions of many of the medicines we discuss.
