Here is a great forum post on what to do if you tear a callus, from Coach Sommer. Painful, but effective. Enjoy!

Nice, I’m going to try this tonight. I tore one pretty deep on Sunday, and have been soaking it in neosporin wrapping it all day….the exact remedy he says not to use! Ha!
I let you know how it feels……
After two nasty rips following the MURPH challenge I used this stuff that I have access to at work called dermabond…traditionally used for closing surgical incisions. It forms a skin-like layer over a wound protecting it from the elements…it doesn’t wash off and stays on for several days.
You can order it and read about it at http://www.dermabond.com
ok..so after reading more closely..dermabond is apparently by prescription only. Your doctor could prob help you get some if you wanted to try it. It worked wonders for my torn callus but I’m sure this was an “off-label” use of this product.
sandbag carry / snatch tonight? looks like weather will hold….looked at the top times from that qualifier and it looks like sub 4:50 would have put you in the top 5, looks like sandbag carry was 100 yds.
sub 5 min is pretty burly, that’s pretty much 1 min per round.

Those are some great times on the fight gone bad and snatch sandbag run…
Inspirational!
As for Dermabond-
I use it @ work frequently and keep some in my 1st aid kit. However, my personal experience is that it is too soft for callus repair. I used it and peeled it off on my next pullup w/o. While i don’t condone it “professionally”, i’ve had better luck with strait up superglue (and it’s a 1/10th of the price).
