Ring Routine

We had a special gymnastics treat in store for everyone tonight! Raman, gymnast coach extraordinaire, taught everyone the fine points and fun progressions to the handstand. Little things from the fingers to how to set the rib cage were extremely helpful! Expect more Raman gymnast workouts in the near future :) Scott also put together a ring routine progression and everybody did moves they had never done before. A fun and different type of workout and that’s CrossFit – constant variety.

Handstand work:
H=handstand form with PVC pipe
finger push ups
one leg kick ups
two leg kick ups
forward roll, into kick up, pike up, straddle up
wall hold 60 secs

Ring Routine:
inverted hang
back lever
skin the cat
L sit
L pull up
