OH I can't tell you how bummed I am to miss the backsquat day! CF is definitely helping me get stronger and more limber. Even after doing my three legs for Portland to Coast I didn't have any pain in my feet (except for a blister), knees and hips which is the usual for me! It's helping me in my golf game too as I'm driving the ball a little farther these days too.

I feel Crossfit has helped me stay uninjured (knock on wood) and strong while doing Brazilian Juijitsu. It has helped with conditioning too but i get alot of conditioning for my sport by doing my sport. Wrestling other sweaty dudes is hard work. I feel having a decent base of strength makes me more durable when guys are trying to dislocate my shoulder or hyperextend my elbow. I worry less about something popping out of place if someone applies a move just a bit to hard.

Of course the back squat comes when being banned from working out until after Hood to Coast. As for motion sickness...squat therapy will help you sweat it out Xi. Haha...kidding, but do it anyhow and post the results. I did hear about the legend of Matthew from East Bay earlier today from some fellow xfitters, Shane and Sam. Pretty darn impressive.

If you can find a place that sells Chinese formularies, get some Pill Curing. Works like a charm.

Ginger is the best motion sickness cure I know. Try some tea or chew on a tiny bit of the raw root, or even eat a couple of those chewy ginger candies, though that's not as Paleo as the first two options.
