How were you introduced to Crossfit? -A friend of mine is part owner of crossfit RVA He was a relentless promoter…it only took three short years before I caved in.

Favorite WOD/lift: – probably the snatch

I have always wanted to- Be able to fly (I think enough crossfit and I’ll get there)

1 word people use to describe me:- FUN!! (sarcastic)

Outside of the gym I like to- Hang out with family and friends/go to the beach

Something nobody knows about me or would be surprised to know about me:-hmmm….I was in the airforce..Suprise!!

Favorite physical activity outside of Crossfit:- Golf

Favorite place to eat in Portland: -Thats a tough one….gonna have to say Yakuza

Song that gets me pumped up for a workout: -not a huge fan,  but for some reason Eminem gets me going??

Proudest accomplishment: -My two Girls for sure

Dr. J! I’m looking forward to getting super strong with you over the next year. It’s been great training with you for The Games.

I was thinking about the team C&J, and how silly it seems as a test – reading about it and hearing Erin’s report seemed to verify the “weird and silly” factor – and then Ben bailed on a squat, and we had to re-rack the bar. What did we do to get it there? Effectively a paired clean – but with us standing at either end of the bar, and not in the middle. So maybe not so silly.

We should push for a competition obstacle course as a games WOD – 10k run with obstacles/lifts/tasks every 1k – sort of like an super-chipper.

If they programmed that kind of a workout for the games, I would train for it.
