Make up yesterday’s presses if you missed them.

7 sets for load:
2 Power Cleans + Split Jerk L + Split Jerk R
rest 2-3 min b/t sets

Mobility:

3 rounds:
Pullover stretch x10 + 10 sec hold
pullover stretch w/hands supinated x 10
Active shoulder lift x10 + 10 sec hold
Down dog shoulder stretch x 30 sec

We’ve started packing for our trip to China. First, lets get the most important items ready to go! This is our food for the long flight and then some. Shredded beef, roasted yams, avocados, and a blend of mixed nuts. Everything here can be purchased at Trader Joes and they make it easy to make your own blend of trail mix that is sans fruit. Pack your food in Zip Lock bags, grab some plastic utensils, and you have NO EXCUSES to miss protein and eat crap on flights.

Thanks for the long flight packing advice XX! I’ll definitely be hittiing up Trader Joe’s before my flight to Dublin and trying to find a decent grocery in Rome before flying to Johannesburg next week.

I was eating when I saw the picture of the shredded beef and it made me hungry; looks good!

I am looking forward to the oly lift seminar, so I can have my terrible clean form addressed at heavy loads.

There’s nothing like trying to make up a couple of Wods at once…especially when you are so sore from doing nothing.

(Workout at work with limited equipment…more excuses)

Not sure they’ll let you through with some of that stuff at customs, although I guess you can always sneak it in, they don’t really check if you say you have nothing to declare. I take about 15 Paleo kits every time I go and I’ve never had a problem. I took cans of salmon once and they got nabbed when I was flying from city to city in China. You can actually eat pretty well/Paleo at restaurants in China I found, although I don’t really have a budget because I’m not spending my money. Have fun guys, email me if you have any questions about Shanghai!

FYI: nut butters are considered liquid. My sister had some peanut butter and hot fudge sauce (not liquid at room temp.) confiscated last weekend.

Have a great time and safe travels.
