Sunday we had a special Hellenish treat. A fantastic workout supplied by Jim at his home gym. The weather was beautiful, the company was great, and the workout was . . . well they got through it. There were many times we thought Pukie was going to make a surprise visit. We also worked on decompressing our spines. Thanks to Jim and Christin for letting us crash and providing the postworkout snacks.

    Dumb newbie question — does the 2x refer to doing 2 sets of the clean and jerk (per round) or to go through the last 3 exercises twice per round?

    Also, is the warmup the “standard” crossfit warmup?

    Go through the last 3 exercises twice, per round. The warm up can be the “standard”. We like to implement specific mobility movements and large muscle groups during the warm-up, so it is different. Good luck!

    Jim sure cooked up a good workout. Made me glad i am doing only heavy lifting and no metcon’s. I’ll have to get back out there when i am doing conditioning again.
