POSE Running Program

Do you want to improve your running form? Have you been hearing about “minimalist” running, and want to find out more?

Running is a fundamental movement that many people come to dread, either because of the perceived effort or because of injuries and pain.

To that end, Crossfit Portland offers seminars and individual coaching for those wanting to improve their running skill. Our attitude is that running should be simple, painless, and an enjoyable process.

All of our running technique programs are delivered by Coach Madoc (experience below) and informed by Dr. Nicholas Romanov’s Pose Method of Running.

CrossFit Portland offers intensive running technique seminars. It will give you the tools to improve your running form regardless of your experience level. Here are some of the drills we will be teaching.

Coach Madoc is a Pose Running Technique Specialist, MovNat Level 2 Trainer, CrossFit Endurance and CrossFit Level 1 trainer, and Poliquin International PICP Level 2 Strength and Conditioning coach.

An avid minimalist runner, Madoc has run the gamut of movement styles, shoes, injuries, and races. He has completed sprint triathlons, half and full marathons, and is currently weighing the folly of a 100 mile Ultramarathon.
