Scott Hagnas
Scott is the founder and owner of CrossFit Portland. He is certified as a CrossFit level 2 coach, Performance Weightlifting level 1 coach, American Kettlebell Club coach, Poliquin International Certification Level 1, and a Biosignature Level 1 & 2 practitioner. He has been riding BMX flatland for 26 years and counting and has filmed/produced/edited several series of BMX videos. He formerly competed in bicycle trials, placing second in amateur in the World Championships in 1990. When not training or riding, Scott can usually be found in the kitchen cooking up Paleo style meals. He writes a monthly recipe column for the Performance Menu magazine.

Rochelle Hagnas
Rochelle is a co-owner of CrossFit Portland, a certified Crossfit level 2 Instructor, a Performance Weightlifting level 1 coach, and Poliquin International Certification Level 1. She has 10 years of gym experience including personal training and aerobic instruction. She holds a BA in Health and Human Kinetics, and Psychology. During college years she played soccer and ran track earning many awards including, MVP, All Conference Sweeper, and All American. Rochelle can currently be found playing soccer for OASA and Clark County Co-ed indoor. When not training or playing soccer Rochelle enjoys spending time with her husband and 8 year old son, coaching the Washougal High School girls soccer team, and cooking nutritious Paleo style meals.

Xi Xia
(pronouced “Sha-She”) Xi Xia is a co-owner at CrossFit Portland. He studied Kinesiology in college and played collegiate competitive Ultimate Frisbee as well. He first started coaching in college and is passionate about movement and helping people accomplish their challenges. He currently teaches the weightlifting class at CrossFit Portland.

Aaron Schmidt
Aaron is CrossFit Level One certified. Besides CrossFit, his physical pursuits include all forms of cycling, skateboarding, skiing, and anything else related to mountains. His favorite lifts include the snatch and overhead squat.
When he’s not CrossFitting or riding bikes, he’s usually in front of his MacBook Pro doing his work as a librarian.
Sean Mackey
Sean is Crossfit Level 1 certified. He has a BS in Psychology from WSU, and studied fitness at PCC. Outside of the gym he enjoys reading comic books, being outdoors, hiking, camping, traveling and anything involving food. He also finds Crossfit to be a most satisfying complement to frequent fantasies about surviving a zombie apocalypse.

Madoc Yng-Wong
Madoc is obsessed with efficient movement patterns, and putting those efficiencies to work as a foundation of a healthful life.
Madoc holds certifications as a Poliquin International Certification Program (PICP) Level 2 coach, MovNat Certified Trainer (MCT) Level 2, Pose Running Technique Specialist Level 2, Functional Movement Systems (FMS) Expert Level 1, CrossFit Level 1, and CrossFit Endurance.

Brad Robertson

Brad is a CrossFit Level One certified coach. He is a local law enforcement officer, Army Veteran, an Oregon Physical Aptitude Test Instructor, and a former SWAT Operator. He enjoys the camaraderie and competition that CrossFit Portland affords its athletes and professionals. When he’s not working or training, he’ll likely be found working, still. His favorite WODs include deadlifts, kettlebell swings, and the rower.

Scott Wilkinson

Scott received a bachelor’s degree in Professional Golf Management from Penn State University in 2009, at which point he was inducted into the Professional Golfers Association. For the last two years his home has been the southern coast of Oregon, where he was an assistant golf pro at the beautiful Bandon Dunes Golf Resort.
Scott is Level 1 CrossFit certified. When he is not scouring the Crossfit Journal, trying to feed his Crossfit addiction, he enjoys being outside, cooking, reading, listening to music, watching movies and skiing.
