Girl of the Month – Lael

Lael is an amazing woman! She has been with us since the AKF days and has seen glorious improvement! She’s got a super strong deadlift to go along with her infectious personality. Recently she reached a huge personal goal, getting her first pullup!

YAY LAEL! She’s now starting to solidly check off her Level 1 skills.  Lael consistently pushes herself even when she thinks she can’t. I was so impressed, during our last workout at the AKF, Lael had convinced herself she was not going to be able to do the run. With a little coaxing, not only did she do it, but she pretty much ran the whole way (a couple of miles) and was fabulous and finished! In addition to all of that, Lael is mom to a cutie patootie boy, and started Crossfit to get back into the game after he was born. Lael is a great example of what a strong, Crossfit gal is all about!
